"Where's my sheep herder" part 3

Hey guys......
Remember my sheep herder that was lost?
Well now he's found!!!!

If you don't remember catch up here:
Part 1 and here:Part 2

So, I'm totally not crazy which is nice to know, because there for awhile I wasn't sure.
My niece found him under the couch. I still have no answers as to how he got there. No one is talking. I have my suspicions on the dog still however it could have been the Zo.
I may never know.
I'm just happy he's found his way back to momma (that's me. I'm talking about my self. Nothing weird, don't make it weird.).

And now the whole nativity scene looks like this which is fine because #Wheresmysheepherder2016 turned into #Wheresmysheepherder2017 just in time to be packed up until next December.

                             See ya byeeeee.

To be a kid

As I type this my daughter is running full speed from her room, through the hall, into the dining room, and finally into the living room over and over again.

I'm standing at the counter scrolling through Facebook and slowly loading the dishwasher.

I've watched her marathon dash for about 10 minutes now and I'm having this weird moment where I'm just kind of staring at her. Like she is really running. As though something really serious is going on. Something big is going down in her little 3 year old world guys.  ↧

As parents we often have this amazement and wonder watching our children. They're magical. How they view and do things is so different than the ways we have as adults.

                                      *****************************************
Me to Zo- "Hey hun, what are you up to? Why are you running?"
Zo- "MOM, I JUST REALIZED I THINK I WANT MY PONIES TO LIVE IN THE LIVING ROOM!" *zyooooom*
                                       *****************************************

Adulthood is so consuming. Appointments, chores, bills, worry......  I don't remember when it got this way.  I don't remember the last time My Little Pony was the most important thing in my life.  Isn't it funny and sad at the same time how we change, our mindsets and worldviews?  Sometimes it feels like I have whiplash. As though I blinked and now I'm 32.
